Human Service agencies strive to support families of all backgrounds as they become self-sufficient, healthy and thriving. After the recent social justice movement, however, most agencies have recognized that there is a strong need to embed DEI in their organizational culture and practices. In order to meet our community’s needs it is imperative that the organization actively and intentionally creates a culture of belonging within their organization and with their stakeholders.
These courses aim to build empathy and encourage connection in a way that empowers participants to actively interrupt problematic habits and consider the benefits of becoming better allies.
