UC Davis Human Services offers a variety of training to support the workforce development and continuous quality improvement of the adult protective services community in California. Courses in this section are designed to train staff on the unique needs of elders and dependent adults and the services available to these vulnerable populations. We offer core training based on National Adult Protective Services Association (NAPSA) curriculum, as well as topics such as policy and practice, aging and long-term care, service plans and cultural competence in adult services. All curriculum reflects current legislation, the latest research and best practices in adult services.
