Coaching in the field of child welfare is growing in both recognition and popularity for one primary reason—it works. Coaching helps individuals learn new skills faster and can effectively support organizations in implementing new practices and strategies. As one of the nationally recognized champions of coaching in child welfare, UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education's Human Services Programs offer a wealth of resources aimed at helping child welfare organizations implement and/or refine their coaching practice.
