A History of Service

UC Davis Human Services began more than 40 years ago as a partnership between the University of California, Davis, and state government to provide rural counties with innovative new skills for their human services workers.

Since our formative years, we have grown into a nationally recognized leader. From Safety Organized Practice and Coaching in Child Welfare to Continuous Quality Improvement and High Fidelity Wraparound, UC Davis has led the way on some of the best practices in human services.

Today, our team brings together a unique blend of academics, researchers and experienced human services professionals with expertise in a growing list of areas, including but not limited to:
