A 'Fireside Chat' About Fidelity Coaching
Hey, y’all! It’s your Friendly Neighborhood Fidelity Reviewer here, and I’d love to have a nice "fireside chat" with you about fidelity coaching.
It is important to know that an evaluation never leads to a big red “F” that you have to keep on your forehead forever (LOL). I know that sounds silly, but if your team is being evaluated, it is completely normal and OK if that process touches on your trauma, feels uncomfortable or overwhelms you at times. Again, all of that is OK!
In a past role, I directed statewide Wraparound quality assurance for almost seven years. So please hear me clearly when I tell you this, especially as I climb these old knees onto one of my favorite soapboxes: If the families you serve cannot fail Wraparound (and really step back and ask yourself this)—

Every Wraparound principle applies to you, friend. And you are worthy of that support!
We are learning.
We are human.
We have dedicated ourselves to helping people find their superpowers—strengths they can use to grow and gain confidence.
You deserve that, too! And that’s what we at the Resource Center for Family-Focused Practice (RCFFP) and its High Fidelity Wraparound Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (COE) want to do for you all.
Will there be hard conversations? Yes, friend, there will be. And we are ready to wrap training and coaching around you in an uplifting way.
Will you be required to improve or maintain the standards you have worked so hard to build in the coming years? Yes, friend. And, again, we are here to help!
Also know that your DART scores will be compiled with many others from every county across the state. Together, they will become a testament to the hard work we are all doing and show how we can all improve!
We do this work because we can see the value in everyone around us. And the COE sees your work and value, too!
Take a deep breath, friend. Fidelity cycles will begin in the coming years, but the focus now is training and coaching. So, participate in our trainings, take advantage of our office hours and contact us with your questions. We’re here to help you every step of the way.
