Wraparound provides a comprehensive, holistic method of responding to children and youth who experience mental or behavioral changes. Children are returned or maintained in their homes. Driven by the ideas and perspectives of the child/youth and their family, along with a team of professional and natural supports, Wraparound creates an environment where healing and growth can take place. Both children and their families are given Wraparound teams, which are equipped to answer family needs by using both formal and informal resources.
UC Davis Human Services provides training on the principles and practice implications of Wraparound, skills for facilitating Wraparound, Creating Community Supports and more.
