Acting as the first contact for individuals seeking public assistance, helping professionals are required to interview applicants and recipients to obtain and verify the information needed to determine initial and/or ongoing eligibility for public assistance. In addition they are required to learn numerous state and federal program regulations and best practices through intensive training. Our boot camp series offerings prepare workers at the operations level to understand the basic regulations necessary to make determinations about the eligibility of families and individuals on their journey toward self-sufficiency. Boot camps are available in CalrFresh, CalWORKS, Medi-Cal and Welfare to Work.
