As part of UC Davis’ Gender Recognition and Lived Name Policy (GRLN), UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) has updated its Student Information System to include fields for “Lived Name” (the name a student prefers to be called) as well as “Legal Name” (legal name required for tax purposes).
If your “Lived Name” and “Legal Name” are the same, no action is required on your part. Your “Lived Name” will populate automatically in our system.
If you would like to update your “Lived Name” and/or “Legal Name,” simply log into your Destiny Student Portal account and enter the correct information into those fields.
Other CPE applications you may access, such as Canvas, will only include “Lived Name” information.
