- Define and Explain DEI Principles as it applies to Inclusive Leadership

Module 3 | Emotional and Social Intelligence
Learning Objectives:
- Cultivate an understanding of emotional intelligence (EQ)
- Create an understanding of workplace “drama” - learn how to identify it and remedy dysfunctional behaviors
- Understand the types and roles of psychological contracts
- Understand the connection between staff engagement and psychological safety
- Gain a foundational understanding of the neuroscience of leadership
Module 4 | DiSC in the Workplace: Effective Communication Strategies
Learning Objectives:
- Learn the basics of DiSC and how each style functions
- Identify your style and explore its impact through a personal assessment
- Determine how you will utilize DiSC concepts in your interactions to meet the needs of your team
- Identify insights you will share with your team to integrate DiSC concepts into the workplace
Module 5 | Crucial Conversations
Learning Objectives:
- Inspire high performers to even greater performance and achievement
- Guide low-performers and help them understand the importance of personal and team accountability
- Create emotional and psychological safety in your crucial conversations to maximize results
- Build an understanding of potential triggers as a result of providing feedback and learn how to address sensitive situations appropriately
Module 6 | The Five Behaviors of Teambuilding
Learning Objectives:
- Examine principles and behaviors to guide team performance
- Understand the stages of team development and recognize how to support your team through each stage best
- Acknowledge the significance of the supervisor’s role in team development
Module 7 | Coaching and Feedback
Learning Objectives:
- Set purpose, goals, and objectives to support your team’s growth and development
- Analyze performance gaps and create an understanding of a structured model for feedback
- Learn to apply situational leadership tactics
- Identify training needs and appropriate interventions for the role of the supervisor
- Gain a foundational understanding of the 7 Essential Questions coaching mode

Training Format: This program will be offered via remote learning using Zoom. Login information will be provided after your enrollment is processed. Also, a reminder will be sent to you about a week prior to first day of class.
Fee Details: The program enrollment fee is .55 training units per person for those utilizing their county contract or $2337.50 per person. The fee for this 7-module program (8 days total) includes a copy of materials and book needed for the program.
The following assessments will be provided:
- DiSC in the Workplace,
- Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument
All materials will be delivered to your county/agency office prior to first session.
Coaching: No coaching will be required for this program, but if you want coaching, please request it through your county contact or training coordinator.
Enrollment Policies
Enrollment Restriction: Attendance in every module is strongly encouraged. Attendance in the first module of the program is required. Failure to attend the first module of the program will result in a non-refundable, discontinued program enrollment.
Enrollment closes on 2/11/25.
Those paying by check or with credit card, please have payment to us no later than two weeks prior to start of class.
To be officially dropped from the class, please notify us at least 10 business days prior to the training start date to drop a class and cancel the billing, or request a refund of fees paid, less a $30 processing fee (no exceptions). Substitutions can be done with a 48-hour minimum notice prior to the training start date. A 48-hour notice is needed to get all updated information processed.
