SOP Skills Lab: Harm and Danger, Safety Goals

Prerequisite: Completion of the SOP Foundational Institute is required prior to attending this training.

Safety Organized Practice (SOP) skills labs are hands-on workshops to practice applying key elements of SOP to real-life child welfare referrals and cases in your county. This SOP skills lab will provide focused skill-building in developing SOP harm and danger statements, and safety goals.

After engaging in this interactive skills lab, participants will increase their proficiency in:

• Utilizing a consistent formula to write harm and danger statements and safety goals.
• Recognizing how harm and danger statements and safety goals maintain the "Golden Thread."
