CWS Clerical Support Staff Training: Health and Education Pages (Virtual Training)

This course introduces participants to basic CWS/CMS Health and Education pages processes. After attending this training, participants will be able to perform the following functions in CWS/CMS:

Search for an education provider and enter educational information
Search for and create a service provider
Record health information for a client
Enter CHDP info in the contact notebook
Create a Health and Education Passport document for a client

Participants will learn additional basic skills needed to do their assigned job duties in CWS/CMS.

Tomas Loarca, M.S.W., has worked as a California child welfare social worker for 10 years. His experience spanned from front-end prevention to adoptions/permanency. Loarca worked to build collaborative relationships with community organizations that resulted in a reduction of local child welfare intervention. Loarca has been an instructor for UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education for over 5 years. He specializes in CWS/CMS, SDM, SafeMeasures, CANS, SOP, team facilitation and other child welfare subject areas.
