WERT Site Visit: Strengthening Wraparound Collaboration
Although my home base is in Southern California, I frequently travel to Seattle, where I continue to play a purposeful role in Wraparound.
On my most recent trip to Seattle, I visited the University of Washington Wraparound Evaluation and Research Team (WERT) office as an opportunity to further strengthen our collaboration. WERT Research Coordinator Katie Renteria enthusiastically welcomed my visit to their office on the beautiful University of Washington campus.
During my visit, I had the opportunity to connect with team members, answer questions about the extraordinary work we are doing and learn more about their research. I was also offered a glimpse into the Document Assessment and Review Tool (DART) process and had the opportunity to review sample data.
The visit was incredibly valuable. We were gifted a book about Wraparound, Everything Is Normal Until Proven Otherwise, which I plan to share with my RCFFP co-workers. We also received new WERT Team logo stickers to distribute among our RCFFP High Fidelity Wraparound team members.
Our continued success is built on meaningful relationships, shared learning and collaboration. I am grateful to be part of this process and look forward to the continued growth and impact of our partnership.
