DART is short for the Document Assessment and Review Tool. It’s a key assessment element of the Wraparound Fidelity Assessment System developed by the University of Washington’s Wraparound Evaluation and Research Team. Here are five ways DART helps our High Fidelity Wraparound programming stay on track for kids and families:
1. Reviewing Documentation
DART-trained reviewers can evaluate records across areas like engagement, team development and outcome-based processes.
2. Measuring Fidelity
DART helps ensure Wraparound processes align with national standards, focusing on key elements like team attendance, strength-based planning and natural supports.
3. Tracking Change
DART follows kids and families throughout the Wraparound process, providing consistent and continuous progress feedback.
4. Driving Improvement
Reflecting continuous quality improvement, DART directly connects to the WrapStat database to manage data, track outcomes, generate reports and more.
5. Enhancing Training
DART can help identify if staff could benefit from additional Wraparound training or coaching.
