California Department of Social Services (CDSS)
The CDSS website is intended to support county cross-sector collaboratives, community members, stakeholders and tribes in the planning and implementation of provisions within FFPSA Part I, FFPSA Part IV, and Assembly Bill 153 (Chapter 86, Statutes of 2021).

CFPIC
CFPIC partners with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS)to help support development and implementation of Family First Prevention Services (FFPS) across California. The work is focused on clarifying, coordinating and communicating the broad array of information, resources and supports available to assist implementation of Comprehensive Prevention Plans (CPPs). CalPrevents Statewide Connect
CalPrevents Statewide Connect connects children and family wellness professionals across California’s Counties and Tribes. Members participate in peer-to-peer learning through the exchange of valuable insights, experiences, and resources. CalAcademies
Regional Training Academies are responsible for providing state standardized workforce development to
public child welfare agencies. The Academies supports the child welfare workforce through transformative
