About the 2025 CQI Statewide Conference

An In-person Event

Coming to Sacramento March 25-27, 2025, this year's theme will be, Building a CQI Culture: Empowering Everyone Through Continuous Improvement. Free to attend, the conference is sponsored by the California Department of Social Services and hosted by the Northern Academy at UC Davis Human Services.

Who Should Attend

Child welfare and probation county teams, including county agency leadership, social workers, probation officers, case reviewers, CQI staff, analysts and those working to support their county's CQI system are strongly encouraged to join us for 2 1/2 days of learning, sharing and collaborative growth.

Enrollment Information

County registrations will be shared between Child Welfare and Probation staff as follows—large-sized counties may send up to 10 participants, mid-sized counties may send up to 7 participants, and small-sized counties may send up to 5 participants. If your county would like to send more, there will be a waitlist available. Complimentary breakfast and lunch are included with registration for all meals specified on the program agenda.

Lodging and Accommodations

The conference will be hosted at the Holiday Inn Sacramento Downtown - Arena location (300 J. Street, Sacramento, CA).

Parking

  • For participants staying at the hotel venue, there will be a charge of $20.00 for overnight self-parking in the adjacent city garage
  • For participants staying elsewhere, there is a $2.50/hour parking fee for the first two hours, and $2.50 each additional half hour thereafter. The maximum charge for self-parking is $30.00 per day. Please note that express self-parking is also available for $30.00 per day

    • Caesar Salad

    • Chicken Parmesan

    • Rigatoni with Spicy Sausage (sausage served separately)

    Beverage:

Standards and Training for Corrections (STC) Credit

Juvenile justice partners: We will now be offering STC credit for attending the CQI Statewide Conference! The conference is now certified for 12 hours of STC credit.
