Partnerships for Well-Being

Thank you for your interest in presenting at the June 10-12, 2026 Partnerships for Well-Being Institute in Garden Grove, CA! For two decades, the Resource Center for Family-Focused Practice at UC Davis Human Services has worked with human service agencies and communities to sustain and build support for families. We are committed to nurturing growth for individuals, agencies and their communities at this event.

Every two years, we collaborate with our state partners to host the Partnerships for Well-Being Institute. The institute offers 75 workshops over the course of 2 and 1/2 days.

Be a part of this dynamic event—submit your workshop proposal and contribute to our learning in service of children, adults, families and their communities.

How to Submit a Workshop Proposal

Step 1: Submit a workshop proposal form, including your Resume, biography and learning objectives, by August 17, 2025.

Step 2: Submit your pre-timed agenda, presentation materials and citations by Jan. 1, 2026

What You Need to Know as a Presenter

  • Location and Dates:  Garden Grove, CA: June 10-12, 2026
  • Conference Audience: Practitioners include line staff, supervisors, parent and youth partners, leadership and everyone else serving California’s most vulnerable children and families.
  • Length of workshops: 90 minutes
  • Workshop attendance averages: 30-50 participants.
  • Be prepared to include a short Q&A session at the end of your workshop, as well as other interactive opportunities.
  • Workshop support will be provided before and during the event.
  • Workshops may provide Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) credits.
  • Proposal Requirements: All presenters will be required to provide a current resume, biography, timed agenda, measurable learning objectives and citations.
    • Presenters must provide their resume, biography and learning objectives upon submitting the workshop proposal form.
    • The timed agenda, presentation materials and citations will be due on Jan. 1, 2026.
