Connecting to the Heart of SOP
UC Davis Human Services is delighted to host the 2025 Safety Organized Practice Conference as a free, in-person event on the UC Davis campus!
At the heart of SOP is the belief that hope and motivation for change is inspired and supported through relationship and empowerment. Every interaction with families, children and youth is an opportunity to build and enhance relationship and empower families to create their own solutions to overcome challenges. We hope that you can join May 28-29 in Davis, where the heart of SOP beats stronger than ever. Together, we'll reignite our commitment to these core values and explore innovative ways to bring them to life, creating a lasting, positive impact on the lives we touch.
Who Should Attend
This event offers keynote presentations and workshops for direct practitioners in California child welfare (with a focus on work with children and families), as well as for leaders (with a focus on implementation, sustainability and organizational climate). There will also be plenty of workshops that will appeal to both leaders and direct practitioners.
