Operations: Front Line Professionals

The vision for leadership at all levels within a human services agency means that everyone has a leadership role to play. Front-line professionals or individual contributors have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the families and individuals they serve.

Some of the job titles specific to this level of the organization include eligibility workers, social workers, employment and training workers, child support case workers, public health workers and lead workers.

The training offered to support professionals at this level within an organization will help to identify tools and resources relevant to work in front-line practice or at the operational level.

Examples of ways one might show leadership on the front line include:

  • Using initiative to support individuals and families to achieve their goals
  • Inspiring colleagues to think differently
  • Supporting others to learn and develop
