A powerhouse of knowledge, compassion and unyielding dedication to community healing with more than two decades of experience in mental health, trauma-informed care and Wraparound services, Gaylor brings an unstoppable drive to her work, always guided by the belief that healing and growth should be accessible to all. Whether she’s leading a training, sharing her lived experiences or engaging with colleagues, her dedication shines through.

A Journey of Impact

From her early work in community-based programs to her current role as director of Education and Resiliency at Purpose. Dignity. Action., Chevonna has always sought to uplift and support others. Today, as a leader and innovator with an unwavering commitment to social justice and mental health, she designs and delivers training that makes a difference, promoting staff well-being, inclusion and professional development with authenticity and heart. Her private practice, GRASP, reflects this same spirit of compassion, providing trauma-informed care, public speaking and consultation services, particularly for communities that have been historically marginalized or overlooked. Chevonna’s message is clear: Everyone deserves the tools to heal, grow and thrive.
