Mandated Reporting: Child & Elder/Dependent Abuse and Neglect in CA (e-learning)
This e-learning course is designed to provide an overview to public contact staff—including supervisors and administrators—with the requirements of mandated reporting in California as required by the California Department of Social Services (CDSS. Participants gain knowledge and insight into the requirement of a mandated reporter under California state law.
Participants will:
- Identify obligations as a mandated reporter
- Recognize signs of suspected abuse or neglect of elders or dependent adults as defined by California State law
- Determine how, when and where to report suspected abuse or neglect
- Describe what investigating agencies do in response to your report

Fee Details: The enrollment fee for this half-day class is $127.50 per participant or .03 training units for those utilizing their county contract.
Training Format: This program will be offered via CANVAS. Course access information will be sent to you after your enrollment.
