Intermediate Excel: Formatting Charts Graphs and Formulas

This workshop helps participants build proficiency in using Excel for everyday tasks. Through guided exercises using prepared workbooks, participants will practice keyboard shortcuts, format cells and worksheets, prepare pages for printing, analyze data and create clear charts and graphs. The workshop also covers common Excel functions, including SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, IF, TRIM, MAX, MIN, LEN, CONCATENATE, ROUND, RAND, LEFT, RIGHT, DSUM, NOW and DAYS.

After attending this training, participants will be able to:

  • Use commonly accessed keyboard shortcuts to work more efficiently and reduce reliance on the mouse
  • Format text and numerical data within cells, worksheets and printed pages
  • Use data analysis tools such as sorting, filtering, subtotals, IF statements and DSUM
  • Create and format pictures, charts and graphs to present and analyze data
  • Apply commonly used Excel functions to calculate, modify and clearly present data

Fee Details:The fee for this one-day class is $255 per participant, or 0.06 training units for participants using their county training contract. The fee covers instruction by subject-matter experts, research-based course content, and all digital learning materials.

Training Format:This course will be offered online through Zoom. Access information will be emailed to you after your enrollment is confirmed.

To be officially dropped from the class, please notify us at least 10 business days prior to the training start date to drop a class and cancel the billing, or request a refund of fees paid, less than a $30 processing fee (no exceptions).
