Eligibility Case Management Utilizing CalSAWS
This course provides eligibility professionals with practical knowledge and skills for effective case management using the California Statewide Automated Welfare System (CalSAWS). Participants will learn how to navigate key system functions, organize and prioritize case-related activities, manage workloads efficiently, and apply best practices for maintaining timely and accurate case actions. Through instruction and practical examples, learners will strengthen their ability to use CalSAWS as a tool to support program integrity, enhance customer service and improve overall case management effectiveness.
By the end of the course, learners will be able to:
- Explain key principles of effective eligibility case management within CalSAWS.
- Utilize CalSAWS tools and features to organize, prioritize, and manage case workloads.
- Apply workflow management techniques to improve efficiency and timeliness of case actions.
- Demonstrate strategies for maintaining accurate case documentation and task completion.
- Enhance professional effectiveness by integrating best practices for eligibility determination and ongoing case management.

Fee Details: The enrollment fee for this 1-day class is $127.50 per participant or .03 training units for those utilizing their county contract. This fee includes quality instruction from subject-matter expert(s), research-based curricula and all digital course materials.
Training Format: This program will be offered via remote learning using Zoom. Login information will be provided after your enrollment is processed.

To be officially dropped from the class, please notify us at least 10 business days prior to the training start dateto drop a class and cancel the billing, or request a refund of fees paid, less than a $30 processing fee (no exceptions).
