California Safety Organized Practice Conference
In partnership with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS), the Northern Academy at UC Davis Human Services is hosting a 2-day event on May 28-29 at the UC Davis Conference Center. The theme for the conference is “Connecting to the Heart of SOP.” We'll offer workshops for direct practitioners in child welfare (with a focus on work with children and families), as well as leaders (with a focus on implementation, sustainability, and organizational climate)–along with keynote presentations and workshops that appeal to all.

At the heart of SOP is the belief that hope and motivation for change is inspired and supported through relationship and empowerment. Every interaction with families, children and youth is an opportunity to build and enhance relationship and empower families to create their own solutions to overcome challenges. Enrollment Policies
Please notify us at least 10 business days prior to the conference start date if you plan to withdraw your enrollment. As this conference is likely to fill, substitutions can be done with a 48-hour minimum notice prior to the start date.
