CalFresh in Motion: Essential Knowledge and Updates for Supervisors and Returning Staff
Course Overview
This course is designed to refresh and strengthen participants’ understanding of CalFresh policies, procedures and recent program developments. Tailored for supervisors and staff returning to eligibility specialist or case management roles, the course offers a practical overview of eligibility criteria, benefit determination, application and recertification processes, verification requirements and common CalFresh errors, with emphasis on current policy updates and operational changes.

After attending this training, participants will be able to:
- Recall core CalFresh eligibility rules and program structure.
- Assess common CalFresh errors and identify best practices.
- Identify and apply recent policy updates.
- Strengthen case management practices.

Fee Details: The enrollment fee for this 1-day class is $255.00 per participant or .06 training units for those utilizing their county contract. This fee includes quality instruction from subject-matter expert(s), research-based curricula and all digital course materials.
Training Format: This program will be offered via remote learning using Zoom. Login information will be provided after your enrollment is processed.

Those paying by check or with credit card, please have payment to us at your earliest convenience.
To be officially dropped from the class, please notify us at least 10 business days prior to the training start date to drop a class and cancel the billing, or request a refund of fees paid, less than a $30 processing fee (no exceptions).
