2026 Institute Awards Nominations

If you would like to nominate an individual or organization for one of our awards, please fill out the nomination form after reviewing the criteria specific to each award below. Please note that all nominations are due by Dec. 8, 2025. 

Recipients within each award category will be recognized and receive the award during a plenary session at the 2026 Partnerships for Well-Being Institute. Ideally, the recipient will be present to receive the award, but it is not a requirement of the selection process.

Nominate an Individual

We are now accepting nominations for individuals in the following categories!

  • PWBI Youth Champion Award
  • We encourage nominations for individuals who meet the following criteria:

    • Nominee is 26 or younger

    • Was/is involved with child welfare, probation, and/or behavioral health.

    • Actively involved in improving outcomes for children and youth as a volunteer or young professional

    • Demonstrates explanatory advocacy skills

    • Has directly navigated any family serving systems (system impacted youth) (Systems may include but are not limited to: Child Welfare, Juvenile Probation, Behavioral Health, Mental Health, Homelessness Education, Regional Centers and Foster Care (or other child welfare advocacy groups)

    Nominate an individual for the PWBI Youth Champion Award

  • Parent Partner Award
  • We encourage nominations for individuals who meet the following criteria:

    • Has demonstrated extraordinary efforts on behalf of those involved in child welfare, probation and/or behavioral health

    • Serves as a resource for other parent

    • Demonstrates a deep and caring desire to help children and families as a resource and support

    • Demonstrates best practice

    • Caring ability to coordinate the best way

    • Expectational coordination that embodies uplifting family voice and choice collaboratively

    Nominate an individual for the Parent Partner Award

  • Collaboration/Integration Award
  • We encourage nominations for individuals who meet the following criteria:

    • Exceptional, unparalleled commitment to children, youth and families as demonstrated through their willingness to engage in partnerships and activities with organizations/individuals that benefit children, families and communities

    • Works in a field that directly impacts the lives of children and families. (i.e., child welfare, probation, behavioral health, education, regional centers and/or foster care or other child welfare advocacy groups)

    • Has demonstrated a clear example of how they embody the Integrated Core Practice Model in their work (such as engagement teaming and/or collaborating)

    • Demonstrates inspirational best practice

    • Has exhibited exemplary leadership

    • Has taken action to address a problem facing children and youth

    Nominate an individual for the Collaboration/Integration Award

  • Wraparound Champion Award
  • We encourage nominations for individuals who meet the following criteria:

    • Embodies Wraparound principles (such as family voice and choice, natural supports, collaboration, persistence, team based)

    • Demonstrates a deep, caring desire to help children

    • Has demonstrated a clear example of how they embody the Integrated Core Practice Model in their work (such as engagement teaming, collaborating)

    • Has exhibited sustained, extraordinary achievement of assigned tasks

    • Is looked upon as a mentor or leader in the field

    Nominate an individual for the Wraparound Champion Award

Nominate an Organization

We are now accepting nominations for organizations in the following category:

  • Collaboration/Integration Award
  • We encourage nominations for organizations meeting the following criteria:

    • Exceptional, unparalleled commitment to children, youth and families as demonstrated through its willingness to engage in partnerships and activities with organizations/individuals that benefit children, families and communities

    • Has demonstrated a clear example of how they embody the Integrated Core Practice Model in their work (such as engagement, assessment, teaming)

    • Demonstrates best practice

    • Has exhibited exemplary leadership

    Nominate an organization for the Collaboration/Integration Award
