As a national leader in the transformation of human services, UC Davis Human Services delivers innovative, research-based workforce and organizational development services through training, consultation and technical assistance. We partner with human services professionals, agencies and Tribal organizations statewide and nationally to improve the lives of those most in need.
Our National Tribal TANF Institute is a unique educational experience that brings together Tribal professionals from across the country to help them better serve the needs of Native individuals, families and communities.
We’re excited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Institute this year! The event will take place July 15-17, 2025, at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California. Our theme, Twenty Years of Tradition: Celebrating Today and Tomorrow Together, will emphasize the importance of honoring Tribal values, cultures and traditions while also embracing new ideas, practices and innovations to make our Native communities stronger for future generations. We’ll also explore programs, opportunities and resources for Tribal youth and young adults to help them transition into thriving adulthood.
