CalFresh and CFAP Program Non-Citizen Eligibility

This professional development workshop provides a comprehensive overview of eligibility criteria for legal non-citizens seeking food assistance through federal and state programs. Participants will gain a clear understanding of the distinctions between CalFresh (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program - SNAP) and the California Food Assistance Program (CFAP), with a focus on legal requirements and policy updates.

1. Define key terms related to legal non-citizen eligibility for food assistance programs, including "qualified non-citizen" and "sponsored non-citizen."
2. Identify the eligibility criteria for legal non-citizens under federal CalFresh (SNAP) and the California Food Assistance Program (CFAP).
