This training is designed for child welfare directors, program managers and ICPC coordinators who are interested in implementing the NEICE (National Electronic Interstate Compact Enterprise) software system designed for the ICPC process. The NEICE quickly and securely shares necessary information between states when placement out of state is being explored. This course will provide an overview of the NEICE requirements, process, various roles and responsibilities and information on how to successfully implement this software in your jurisdiction. Currently 11 jurisdictions in California have implemented NEICE, and after attending this webinar, participants will be able to assess readiness to become part of a new cohort of NEICE users.
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Describe the basic premise behind the NEICE requirement
- Delineate the different roles and responsibilities of affected staff
- Determine readiness for implementation of NEICE for their county
