This 2-hour refresher course is part of the required training curriculum under the California High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) Center of Excellence (COE) and is intended to build alignment and a shared understanding of the Caregiver/Parent Peer Partner role within the California HFW model. Designed for current and returning Caregiver/Parent Peer Partners, this course revisits the purpose and value of the peer partner role, clarifies the key responsibilities of an effective Caregiver/Parent Peer Partner, and reviews the foundational skills that support family engagement, advocacy, effective teaming, and fidelity. By the end of the session, participants will have renewed confidence in their role and a clearer understanding of the core skills and responsibilities that contribute to effective peer support and partnership with families.
