At UC Davis Human Services, we’re committed to empowering California’s Adult Protective Services (APS) professionals through targeted training and support. Our programs are designed to strengthen the workforce, enhance continuous quality improvement and equip APS teams with the tools they need to meet the complex needs of elders and dependent adults. By streamlining access to vital services, we help improve outcomes and elevate the standard of care across the state.
APS training is available statewide, with customized, county-specific training available. In July 2025, we also launched the Adult Protective Services Regional Training Academy for California's 28 counties in the Northern Training Region.
