Licensed family child care providers are a major source of support for working families. The Family Child Care at Its Best program delivers high-quality, university-based education to licensed providers.
Offered statewide, these courses help caregivers improve their knowledge, skills, and quality of care working with mixed age range children. We currently offer 18 different training classes focused on serving families and children ages 0 – 13 years. The program is funded by the California Department of Education, which enables us to offer these courses at no charge to participants.
