Advanced skills practice training can involve participants from a single organization or, to foster and support collaboration, multiple organizations in a county or region. Training can serve many purposes, including:

- Introducing new delivery systems
- Developing a consistent body of knowledge and common values within and across organizations, programs and staff levels
