Wraparound Certification Webinar 3: Preparing for High Fidelity Wraparound County Plan Approval - Getting Organized for Success

After completing the tour of the Portal, let's roll up those sleeves and get organized! This 3rd session in the 4-part California High Fidelity Wraparound County Plan Approval and Provider Certification webinar series offers preparation strategies for counties beginning the County Plan Approval process through the Portal. With updated ACL-BHIN guidance in place, effective preparation is key to a smooth submission experience.

Designed for teams leading or supporting plan approval efforts, this session outlines strategies to help take important early steps for organizing documentation, identifying gaps, and aligning internal systems to the California Wraparound Standards.

Topics will include:

  • Gathering the right policies - and adjusting them if needed
  • Reviewing internal systems for Standards alignment
  • Assembling the A-team:
    • Who will utilize the Portal?
    • Who will be their support?
  • Setting realistic expectations and timelines - certification takes time, teamwork, and intention

This webinar is presented by the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) in partnership with the UC Davis Resource Center for Family-Focused Practice (RCFFP) to support consistent, high fidelity Wraparound implementation across California.
