The Unique Role of the APS Supervisor (eLearning)

APS supervisors must be well-versed in both the complexities of APS practice and the principles of effective supervision. This course examines the core roles, tasks and competencies of APS supervisors while addressing challenges that may arise during the transition into the supervisory role. Special attention is given to maintaining professional boundaries and supporting staff development.

• After attending this training, participants will be able to:
• Identify the three key roles of an APS supervisor
• Describe the six APS Supervisor Competencies and identify areas for individual growth and development
• Identify possible issues that may arise for supervisors around professional boundaries
