Lean Six Sigma Principles for Mid-Level Leaders

This 6-hour course is designed for mid-level leaders who aim to improve operational efficiency and enhance the quality of services in their organization. Lean Six Sigma principles will be introduced, along with models and methodologies for process improvement. Participants will engage in a combination of lectures, group discussions, hands-on exercises and personal journaling to gain a comprehensive understanding of Lean Six Sigma and its practical application in the workplace.

By the end of the training, participants will:

Understand the fundamental concepts of Lean Six Sigma and its relevance to their current organization
Learn how to collaborate more effectively with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement efforts
Articulate the importance of supporting a culture of continuous improvement within their organization

Fee Details: The enrollment fee for this 1-day class is $255.00 per participant or .06 training units for those utilizing their county contract. This fee includes quality instruction from subject-matter expert(s), research-based curricula and all digital course materials.

Instructors

Lindsay Boyd

Lindsay Boyd, MBA, has 14 years of experience as a senior deputy probation officer. She worked a variety of probation assignments in both juvenile and adult divisions, including juvenile placement where she worked closely with the Human Services agencies in her county. Her passion for teaching led her to become one of the first Career Enhancement Academy instructors for her department. She also has experience instructing Probation Core classes and several probation and leadership classes. Boyd incorporates the philosophy of “leading from the line” into her curriculum development, and in early 2022, she left probation and founded her own training company, Next Level Corrections, that provides state-approved training to both probation and corrections officers.
