How to Talk about Elder Abuse eLearning
The language used by Adult Protective Services professionals plays a powerful role in shaping public perceptions of elder abuse. This course introduces a strategic communication approach developed by the National Center on Elder Abuse and the FrameWorks Institute. Participants will explore current public perceptions, learn how to shift the narrative to one that empowers older adults and discover tools for more effective communication with peers, clients and the broader community.
