Growing Yourself, Growing Others: Engaging and Empowering Those We Serve

Over the years, Human Services has evolved in its approach when serving families. Rather than helping our clients by simply solving barriers for them, we are now empowering our clients by providing them with the right tools to solve their own barriers. This interactive training builds upon one’s own knowledge and skills needed to engage and empower clients through meaningful interactions. Designed as a 4-part series, this training introduces specialized interventions to develop, reinforce, and support the human services professional in today’s world. We will learn ways to grow ourselves to, in turn, grow others we serve.

The first component supports developing a growth mindset and effective communication skills while practicing strength-based language and strategies.
