Grant Writing JumpStart

This two-day Grant Writing JumpStart workshop offers participants a fundamental understanding of essential elements in successful grant applications. This interactive program covers a wide range of topics, beginning with an exploration of funding streams, helping attendees discern between federal and state sources, and providing insights into identifying the most suitable options for their projects. Attendees will also learn the art of crafting milestones, acquiring the skills to describe project progress in quantifiable terms.

Day two offers the foundation of a Grant Writing 101 and offers more advanced content and a clearer understanding of the funder’s priorities, wants, needs, and guidelines. The workshop also introduces a rubric that can be adapted and used by grant writers to assess and measure their grant proposals consistently while providing valuable feedback to applicants.
