Financial Exploitation (California) (eLearning)

This course will teach participants the necessary components for effective financial exploitation investigations. Participants will learn the indicators of financial exploitation, understand decision-making capacity and undue influence related to financial exploitation cases, and examine how to implement the essential steps for a financial exploitation investigation.

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

• Recognize situations where financial exploitation may be occurring
• Identify indicators of financial exploitation
• Recognize the impact of undue influence on decision-making
• Select the components of financial decision-making ability
• Identify key investigation steps in financial exploitation cases

NOTE: This course is self-paced and can be started and completed anytime between July 1 and June 30.
