Family Maintenance CFT All County Letter (ACL) Release Webinar
Join us for a webinar focused on the implementation of Child and Family Teams (CFTs) in Family Maintenance (FM) cases!
As outlined in ACL 25-08, CFTs for youth with FM status support the larger objectives of local System of Care efforts, to ensure services are available in ways that keep youth at home, in school and away from youth corrections involvement. The implementation of CFTs for youth with FM status safeguards equitable access and parity of care for all youth involved in child welfare regardless of where they are placed. The CFT members work together to identify services that prevent the unnecessary separation of children from their families by recognizing family problems and assisting families in resolving their problems, where the prevention of child removal is desirable and possible.
Who Should Attend?
This webinar is designed for those who want to understand how FM CFTs support the safety and well-being of youth and families. We highly recommend this event to professionals involved in facilitating or coordinating CFT meetings, including county child welfare practitioners, contracted providers, system of care professionals, and Tribal representatives. County practitioners who work with youth with FM status are also strongly encouraged to attend. Don’t miss this opportunity to strengthen your practice and improve outcomes for children and families!
