Coaching in Wraparound: Coaching Teams
Effective teamwork is essential in Wraparound—but what happens when communication breaks down and cohesion crumbles? This course equips coaches and supervisors with practical strategies to strengthen team effectiveness, foster collaboration and address challenges that hinder progress. Participants will learn to assess team dynamics, facilitate productive discussions and apply coaching techniques that enhance teamwork and shared decision-making. Through interactive activities, case scenarios, and reflective exercises, learners will gain the skills needed to build high-functioning teams that drive positive outcomes for children, youth and families.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Assess team functioning by identifying strengths, communication patterns and behavioral dynamics.
- Enhance team skills in problem-solving, decision-making and collaboration.
- Improve communication and cohesion to foster trust and shared understanding.
- Address barriers that impact team effectiveness in Wraparound implementation.
- Facilitate productive meetings using coaching techniques to guide teams toward consensus and accountability.
- Support long-term team success through continuous improvement strategies aligned with Wraparound principles.
This course provides the tools and insights needed to develop and sustain teams that effectively support children, youth and families.
