Coaching for Inclusive Leadership: Advanced Practices for Transformational Leadership
This four-day immersive program is designed for experienced coaches and organizational leaders who are ready to champion inclusive leadership. Through advanced coaching methodologies and actionable tools, participants will gain the confidence and capability to foster a sense of belonging, navigate courageous conversations and cultivate inclusive team cultures. The program blends deep self-awareness with practical application, empowering leaders to drive meaningful systemic changes within their organizations.
Program topics by day
Day One: Self-Awareness and Inclusive Mindset
The first day of the program equips participants with the foundational skills of inclusive leadership through the lens of self-awareness and identity. Participants will engage in structured reflection, experiential learning and peer dialogue to explore how their personal identities, lived experiences, and unconscious biases shape their leadership style and coaching approach. Through guided bias mapping, active listening exercises and empathy-building practices, learners will develop the core competencies necessary to foster inclusion, belonging and psychological safety in diverse teams and organizations.
Learning Objectives:
Define and articulate the key traits and behaviors of inclusive leadership.
- Analyze how personal identity and lived experience influence leadership perspectives and decision-making.
- Identify and describe common cognitive biases and their impact on coaching and leadership interactions.
- Demonstrate active listening and empathy techniques that promote inclusion and belonging in professional settings.
Day Two: Inclusive Behaviors in Leadership
This day moves from mindset to behavior, exploring how inclusive leadership shows up in communication, feedback and decision-making. Participants will practice giving courageous feedback, facilitating psychological safety and supporting others through inclusive conversations. Through coaching practice and peer engagement, they will gain tools for influencing more equitable and inclusive cultures.

- Coach others to give and receive feedback effectively across lines of difference.
- Use language and presence to create environments of psychological safety and trust.
Day Three: Belonging and Team Inclusion
This session focuses on designing environments where people feel safe, valued and heard. Participants will learn to guide leaders in establishing inclusive team norms, identifying and addressing marginalization and cultivating a culture of collective belonging. Through experiential learning, including narrative coaching and group facilitation exercises, participants will enhance their ability to lead inclusive group processes and elevate underrepresented voices.

- Coach leaders to design and model inclusive team structures and behaviors.
- Analyze group dynamics to identify factors that support or hinder a sense of belonging.
- Facilitate group processes with a focus on equity, inclusion and psychological safety.
- Apply narrative coaching techniques to surface, validate and integrate marginalized perspectives into team dialogue.
Day Four: Leading Change and Integration
On the final day of this advanced coaching program, participants will deepen their capacity to support leaders in embedding inclusive leadership practices at a systems level. Through a blend of strategic frameworks, real-world case studies and a culminating coaching lab, coaches will learn how to partner with leaders to integrate inclusion into organizational culture, strategic planning, and accountability structures. This session equips participants with practical tools and a personalized action plan to sustain inclusive leadership beyond the course.

Fee Details: The enrollment fee for the 4-day series is $1020.00 per participant or .24 training units for those utilizing their county contract. This fee includes quality instruction from subject-matter expert(s), research-based curricula and all digital course materials.
Training Format: This program will be offered via remote learning using Zoom. Login information will be provided after your enrollment is processed.
