CalWORKS Time on Aid (Time Clocks)

This workshop provides an overview of the TANF and CalWORKs time clock limit and gives an understanding of what to look for when reviewing the CalWORKs time clock for accuracy. Participants will learn about how accurate CalSAWS entries result in corresponding aid codes specific to a family type, what qualifies for an extender and which exemptions are allowed.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the eligibility requirements and importance of Time-on-Aid
  • Evaluate the accuracy of the CalWORKs Time-on-Aid 60-month clock
  • Troubleshoot calculated time clocks to ensure accuracy
  • Identify and apply exemptions/extenders
  • Discuss Time-on-Aid with recipients with confidence

Fee Details: The enrollment fee for this ½ -day class is $127.50 per participant or .03 training units for those utilizing their county contract. This fee includes quality instruction from subject-matter expert(s), research-based curricula and all digital course materials.

Training Format: This program will be offered via remote learning using Zoom. Login information will be provided after your enrollment is processed.
