APS Case Documentation and Report Writing (eLearning)

In this course, you’ll learn about the purpose of accurate, complete and person-centered case documentation, as well as the importance of using clear, concise and objective language in your documentation. You’ll also explore other documentation considerations such as confidentiality and how documentation may be used.

After completing this course, you will be able to:

• Describe the value of accurate, complete, timely, and purposeful documentation
• Recognize clear, concise, objective, and person-centered language
• Describe confidentiality as it relates to documentation
• Identify elements of documentation needed for evidence and the legal system

NOTE: This course is self-paced and can be started and completed anytime between July 1 and June 30.
