For more than 40 years, Human Services at UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education (formerly UC Davis Extension) has empowered human services professionals by providing them with research-informed and field-tested knowledge and best practices to excel throughout their careers.

What You Need to Know as a Presenter

  • Workshops may provide BBS credits. All presenters will be required to provide a current resume, biography, timed agenda, measurable learning objectives and citations. Presenters must provide their resume, biography and learning objectives upon submitting the workshop proposal form. The timed agenda, presentation materials and citations will be due on January 1, 2024.
  • Conference Audience: Practitioners include line staff, supervisors, parent and youth partners, leadership and everyone else serving California’s most vulnerable children and families.
  • Length of workshops is 90 minutes; alternatively, we’ll consider 180-minute workshops as a (Part 1/Part 2 workshop pair).
  • Workshop attendance averages 25-30 participants.
  • Be prepared to include a short Q&A session at the end of your workshop, as well as other interactive opportunities.
  • Workshop support will be provided before and during the event.
