Eligibility Criteria 

To be considered for this role, potential instructors must have:

  1. At least 3 years of professional experience within the topic areas they wish to teach; and
  2. At least 2 years of teaching/training experience.

Or:

  1. Lived experience in county human services systems that they intend to incorporate into teaching classes.

Also, potential instructors:

  1. Must be willing to teach both in-person and virtually.
  2. Cannot be a current county training coordinator for a county that holds a direct contract with UC Davis Human Services.

NOTE: “Lived experience” or “lived expertise” is defined as having personal rather than professional experience as a child/youth, parent or other individual served by county child welfare, juvenile justice, or behavioral health systems. Please do not answer “yes” if you have only professional or work experience within these systems. You may answer “No” if you have lived experience but do not intend to incorporate this experience into teaching/training.
