The West Coast Child Welfare Trainer’s Conference is a dynamic forum for both new and experienced trainers within the field of child welfare and other human services partners to exchange ideas, improve skills and support each other in the effort to improve the care that families receive from the staff we train.
The one-day pre-conference institute designed for new trainers as well as experienced trainers who would like a refresher on the following key foundational training topics:
- Becoming a trainer
- Curriculum development – Writing learning objectives
- Rolling with resistance in the classroom
- Team-based learning
Note: Participants who choose to enroll in this event will also need to enroll in the general conference as it is a separate event..
