Course Overview
Accurate and timely documentation is a critical component of effective Welfare-to-Work case management. This half-day mandatory training is designed for Welfare-to-Work Case Managers to strengthen their skills in case journaling and policy compliance. Participants will learn how to apply the LOGIC model (which stands for Lay out the facts, Objective details only, Guidance offered, Impact and rationale, and Clear next steps) to create clear, objective and defensible case notes that support participation tracking, supportive services accuracy, disability disclosure documentation and reasonable accommodation compliance.
Through real-world scenarios, interactive group activities and practical examples, staff will build confidence in writing audit-ready documentation that protects participants, supports continuity of care and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
