Navigating professional spaces and roles can be challenging for a number of reasons. Engaging families and youth can add another layer of challenge when trying to balance the dynamic of professional engagement while building rapport and working through conflict, culture and communication differences. The following webinar will explore how authenticity, empathy and culture intersect when building rapport and teaming.

Presenter:

Kendrick Dial a Navy veteran, seamlessly blends social work training, academia, and artistic expression. Kendrick's journey ignited a commitment to social transformation. Equipped with a Bachelor's in Africana Studies and a Master's in Social Work, he's a seasoned consultant navigating a myriad topics such as D.E.I, managing conflict, organizational health, social emotional intelligence and cultural dynamics that impact community and professional spaces. In the realm of equity and social justice, Kendrick loves to employ experiential learning, creating safe spaces for transformative connections. He currently serves as a coach and trainer for social service academy's across California. He is also a notable spoken word artist, producer and film composer. As a 2023 recipient of the FSBN Grant, he is seeking to create healing spaces for men through the arts and social emotional awareness building.
