When considering the needs of youth impacted by human trafficking and professionals that support them, there are a plethora of dynamics. This brief, yet impactful, presentation offers the following: (1) a unique perspective on the definition of CSEC, (2) practical ways to conceptualize and utilize engagement strategies and (3) complexities within the population. Lastly, we will explore the impact that serving individuals identified as CSEC can have on you and your well-being. This solution-focused and authentic presentation is delivered by Chevonna Gaylor, LMFT (renowned clinician, author and speaker) and Beatriz Lodia (skilled trainer, advocate, and survivor.)
